Cool Pictures of painted interior

hey guys, i would like to share what i've done for the past week. I give thanks and credit to the black matrix on matrixowners.com for giving me the idea (sry i dont know your screen name since i cant get on the website to check) and reading through other forums on that site...but anyway, yea i decided to paint my interior black to go with my black & blue theme .

I used Krylon Fusion for plastics spray paint cans from walmart. total amount spent: around $15 ??

Items used:
- 1 can of Black Krylon Fusion
- 1 can of Blue Krylon Fusion
- 1 can of Crystal Clear Krylon Gloss Finish
- Water & Soap
- Old paper you don't need anymore
- Tape
- Patience and time

here are some photos:

the speedometer part is now my favorite part of car lol

Thanks, feel free to leave comments or ideas to make it better ! .

That's nicely done. I'm glad you didn't spray everything blue.

lol @ the flip-flops in the footwell

What is that switch on the left of the clock?

I have almost the exact same mileage on my ODO had it since march 08

thanks, yea i thought everything blue was way too much. so i went black. The switch is what i added to control my LED lights for the footwells. i wired them so that when you open the door both my LED's and the dome lights turn on and off. I've had the mileage since may 08 hehe

& TRXR4KDS,
wow thats a nice speedometer ! i want to change the leds in my cluster but i dont feel like going through the hassle in taking it apart

I just put blue painters masking tape on the underside of the white numbers. I've since gone back to OEM and painted the gauge pod red, new theme all around inside and out.

i did the same thing to the interior pieces a few months back. also had thought about the blue.. but thought it would be to much.

just wanted it to blend in a little more.... looks more natural.

didnt use a clear on mine... its been about 6 months since we've done it and ive hit it with simple green to since then.. hasnt changed it a bit.

as long as ur letting it cure like its suposto and you follow the proper steps on the back of the can... AND MAKE SURE IT IS CLEAN!!!...

the same with the front grills, didnt put a clear coat on them and they've held up fine.
