i installed the springs myself they were very easy, my wife and i think that the matrix rides alot better with these springs then the factory ones, the roof rack is oem, and i also got sick of my wheels so i got these to change the look a little bithttp://photobucket.com/2009silverbullet

the rear on the bases is not independent like the awd models so i dont think that these springs will work, i am not 100% so if you want to try them in your awd models it is up to you
Nice. I have an XR (S model in the USA) and I also want to lower mine. I'm debating between these and TRD springs....hmmmm. THe wheel gap I have with my 17's and stock suspension is nasty....looks like a monster truck lol
i'm pretty sure that's stock and not lowered, he said "NEW rims, springs, and roof rack" theres no roof rack on that picture.. so yea old picture
i believe the Base and S model have the same suspension system right? these progress springs should be able to work on your car then i think .. should double check with someone else.

Yes, same springs so they will work. I'm just debating now because the TRD springs I can get for the same price, and they're TRD. THe only downside is that for some reason TRD springs drop the back 1.5" but only 0.5" in the front apparently. WTF?

yea, i dont think anyone wants the TRD springs.. retarded making front higher than back .. i like the progress springs better. could be a tad bit lower though but it's still good if i had 200 dollars and spare time laying around I'd definitely order the springs ASAP lol.. i'll just ask people to buy it for me on my b-day or sometime soon.. mayb christmas! lol

Being one of the first people to lower the 09', I would to see pics of this drop. I first tried the H tech teins from the first gen. The car looked great and drove well. unfortunately over time the springs could not support the weight of this car. I have since moved to the OEM springs from my 05' Xr. I love the ride and love the height. The only tweeking it needs is that the front sits a little higher then the rear. But so did the H techs.
