Matrix 09 XR

Hey guys,

I am new to Toyota. I just purchased a 2009 Toyota Matrix XR with 30,000 KM yesterday. I am very excited.

As far as I understand in 2009 there was a base model, an XR and an XRS....were there any other models? other then the AWD

My car has power windows, power locks, AC, fog lights, spoiler and the 2.4 litre engine...im

A friend told me i should have got TRD? I dont know what that is ..sorry i dont know much about cars!

i'm guessing your friend ment to get a TRD emblem or get TRD parts... TRD only stands for Toyota Racing Development .. it isnt a model or choice in choosing the matrix trim levels.. and yeah you have only 4 choices [Base, XR/S, XRS, and AWD]

Sounds like you got the line-up correct. As mentioned above, TRD is not a "model" for the Matrix. You said you have fog lights so it sounds like you have the XR with the Sport Package. You must have skirts too! What color? 5spd manual?
