Very weird rpm fluctuation

Hi all,
I just bought a new 2010 5spd matrix. Prior to me picking up the vechicle the dealer said the performed the recall on the car.

This is the issue.

when im driving the car, lets say im going 60 clicks, i depress the clutch hold it down and coast, however, the rpm's will stay at 2000 and not go down to idle speed for a good 5 seconds or more then gradually fall down. Even if i take the car out of gear, pump the clutch.. etcc. all that dont matter, the rpms dont go down to idle. (below 1000)

I know this is a problem because it doesnt happen all the time.

THis also happens sometimes when i come to a stop. The rpms will stick at about 2000 rpms. Sometimes they even drop and go back up to 2000 on its own without me touching anything (clutch depressed and in gear or gear in nutrual)

Has anybody else experianced this?

let me add that i understand that when the car first starts and its cold it should rev and stay at about 2000 however, in my post above the car is warm and been driving for a long time.

Its brand new 200 km. on it

Nope, but I have heard of that problem happening before. I think it had to do with the Idle control setting at or near the throttle body or something. Talk to your dealer as this is not normal.
