Chnage interior chime for doors open, lights on, etc.

I have a 2010 & am very hard of hearing. Even with hearing aids, I can just barely hear the chime for the doors open/key in switch/lights on. Is there any way to make it louder or replace it ? The dealer said no.

I've seen products such a backup flashers and highly visible turn signal flashers for the hearing impared, but nothing like what you need.

In theory you just need the chime signal amplified and a speaker that can handle the signal. That is the type of work a good Car Stereo shop should be able to handle.

Perhaps your local hearing aid shop or Accessibility Centre could suggest something?

Thanks for the response. The dealer admitted that the tone was low but said that there was no adjustment on it. Even with my hearing aids, I don't hear it. Friends with good hearing have said that it is only a " faint sound."
I guess I will talk to someone at a car stereo shop. Thanks again !
