Sirius signal problem

I just got my trix last week with dealer installed Sirius, and it unfortunately the signal reception is awful! I had Sirius on my two previous cars, and the antenna was installed on the top, and I never lost the signal (except for tunnels and obvious obstacles). On my new car, I keep losing the signal even with zero obstacle around! The dealer said that it is normal for a Sirius receiver, and I am about to get really pissed at their stupid reasoning.

Can anyone let me know where is the antenna installed? I looked all over the car, and I couldn't find anything inside or outside. Is it in the antenna slot on top of the car? Or if anyone has the installation guide for the Sirius kit, it would be appreciated. I could look if they performed the installation correctly or not. Thanks!

Ok, so the solution was as simple that the dealership screwed up the installation. They had installed the antenna upside down inside the car (roof liner). Now that it's on the roof, it works like a charm. It even seem to have a 4 seconds buffer, since I do not lose the signal under underpasses or obstacles even in areas where there is no terrestrial signal.

The only problem that I have now, is that the Sirius takes around a minute to boot each and every time that I start the car. The word "Updating" is flashing for a minute, and once it is completed I then receive the signal. Is it normal? It almost seems to be that the Sirius tuner doesn't have any memory...
