09' Matrix on TRD springs (pics)

I think I'm the first one to do it, so here are some pics. I actually like the ride quality better. It's sportier and a little bit stiffer, but not by much. There is a BIG difference in the way the car handles. It's much more fun to drive and corner with. For that alone it was well worth it as there's little body roll now. There's no lag when you turn into a corner. Also on hard acceleration the nose doesn't tilt upwards as before. Overall, I'm very happy. Just waiting for it to settle a bit to properly lower a little bit more.

BEFORE (stock springs):

AFTER (trd springs, right after coming off the jacks, so it has not had time to settle properly yet):

I kinda like the stock height....just a more aggressive tire package with those wheels, a bunck of driving lights up front, a cage, go rallying

Looks good! TRD springs aren't known to provide much of a drop, but as you said, it should settle and become a bit lower. Good to hear that you've noticed a difference in the handling. That's worth it just on its own

Yup, here's the car a few days after the drop. The front has settled a lot better:

It looks great. I'm not a fan of the bug shield but apart from that awesome.

The springs and wheels are the bomb diggerty

Hey! I definitely seen your car while I was in Mississauga this weekend. I parked almost across from you at the strip mall just off of Hurontario near Eglinton. Looks real nice man!!

LOL

I thought I had seen this before.
I parked right across from it today in Mississauga while I stopped in Vistek for a pick up.

Car looks great in person.
