dropped base matrix. 09

don't know if anyone ever reads this forum but anyways, dropped my matrix again with tein stech springs from a 03+ corolla. (this works with S as well, but not XRS)

took off my Progress springs, and installed these tein stech! got on road first thing i noticed is that car is more bouncy, and obviously lower.. Progress springs are definately stiffer.

heres some pics ::

front drop ::

back drop ::

wheel gaps:: front

wheel gaps:: back

should really wash car. but it's been dark and rainy few days so yea.. oh well. heres overall result :: i like a lot!

looks really nice in person.

compared to PROGRESS SPORT SPRINGS::

it depends on how comfortable you feel about fixing your car. for my first time, it took me about 4-5 hours to change all 4 springs at my friend's house in the garage. all you need is spring compressor, socket wrenches, jack, jackstands, allen wrench, etc the basic stuff in a garage.

and my springs fit only the base models and S models. XRS have different suspension in rear. 2009 and 2010 are same.

yes it should fit. any of the corolla springs 03-10 should fit.. not springs from the xrs though..

and i got them for 155 shipped.

my back end has settled more i think..it's lower than front

its about like this:: but rear might be a lil higher due to uneven ground (my rear is on sidewalk)

took this picture yesterday after a car wash.
