Angry Matrix XR 2010 Not Starting All the time!

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site. I bought a Matrix XR 2010 1 year ago and I'm experimenting problems with the engine since the beginning!

When the temperature is about 0C, the engine crank, but it does not start all the time. It can start after the third try!!!! I went to the dealer few times and the engine didn't code! So they told me that the only thing they can do is opening a report at Toyota about this.... Now, I'm starting to be very frustrated about this problem. It happens 4-5 times at the reception of the car and they changed the computer. 1 year later, the problem appeared again at the same weather conditions (at about 0C, 2-3 times since the new computer).

It sounds like the computer is not injecting the correct amount of fuel at 0C (according to the dealer?!?)... At the last failure, I successfully started the engine at the second try by pushing the accelerator down while I was starting... Of course, when the engine finally started, it started like my old Ford Tempo 88! But it cost 25 000$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found another guy complained about the same symptoms, but it was with a Matrix 2008 (the video is on Youtube).

I also noticed that the engine is not running cleanly at idle when its cold. The dealer confirmed me that other clients complained about this also... but nobody seems to have a starting problem except me!

Does anybody experience the same problem than me?
Fighting against Toyota and the dealer is not really cool and I'm really disappointed about the service...
Thanks,
Denis.

Yeah sounds like an ECU problem. I thought they had a reflash out for this issue??

No! There is a new firmware to correct an issue about a false error of some an environmental sensor (fuel tank pressure I think). Well, I just got the update. This problem was found on the 2009 and they just released the new code now.

For my problem of start and bad idle at cold condition, my dealer told me that it's gonna take a long time (if any action is taken)!!! That's not a good news for me...
