yes, 4K and up you feel it and see the rpms increase quicker than stock.

some scoin forum tested a whole bunch of headers and dyno'd each one. i think it was +8hp. but dont quote me on this

tarsun,

Do you have a free flow CAT-Back system in order to get the most out of your new header?

If so, which system did you go with?

I'm considering the Magnaflow CAT-Back but I'm not certain if I need a special version for my AWD Matrix or not.

Unfortunately, they never retain that shiney stainless steel finish. But still, it looks good. With that intake and a catback exhaust, you should see about a 15hp increase and rev up quicker too.

no exhaust yet. just the intake and header. i dont want to put anything on the car that i have to weld on. that way when i sell the car i can easily put it back to stock.

Tarsun,

That's the beauty of a Magnaflow Cat Back System...it's totally clamp-on.

If you are capable of intalling a header, then the Magnaflow system would be a piece of cake...easy to install and remove with simple hand tools.
