You are a genius, in my honest opinion. Where did you even start to make this build?? I read your earlier post about checking all the MAPS, etc. I have no clue in regards to turbo systems, but I want to learn how to do this type of work someday. It's the only system on a car (other than electrical) that I don't know squat about. Thanks for the thread, and you did an amazing job. Is all the info. about your build on this thread because I'm planning to use it as a template.

Your welcome. I hope you decide to sell them. Think of all the customers you could attract. I've been looking around for a turbo kit for my 2010 Toyota Corolla S for a little bit now, and thought I'd have to design my own (which is a scary thought for me, lol). You would pretty much have a monopoly on this kind of kit, I think. How significant are your HP/TQ gains in regard to feel. I saw the numbers, but how does the driveability actually feel and how does the engine respond to your turbo kit? Is there even anyway to describe it? Jk.
Good work!!

To be completely honest, I am considering selling my kit, used, and then selling my car. I have no intent at this point to produce these kits. I was planning it before, but my priorities have changed, and it is time to move on. We have bought another vehicle (Rav4) that is more suitable for our family.
Although this may seem biased (afterall, it is my kit LOL) I must say I am completely impressed with this kit, and I believe it would go toe to toe with the best anyone else could offer. I spared no expense, making sure this was done right the first time.
Driveability? Like stock, with a lot more jam when you go WOT. Boost is there from as low as 2000 rpm, and torque is very flat from about 4000 rpm to 6500 rpm (or 7000 rpm as Ive tested it to). The boost in the midrange is low enough to allow the stock clutch to hold up just fine. The tune is safe enough for long WOT runs through 4th and 5th gear. Really, the setup seems to be very easy on the engine up to this point, on 91 octane fuel. Acceleration is a massive improvement over stock, and a WOT shift from first to second at redline results in smoking tires through nearly the entire second gear LOL.
Forget about throttle controllers, intakes, header, pulley, etc LOL. They are nothing compared to forced induction done right.
Hope that answers your questions!
PS
If I do sell this kit, it would be great to ship it to someone in this country.
PPS
This wasn't my first turbo project/car. I started doing lots of turbo civic's with the D-series/ZC in Mississauga back in 2000, then got heavy into a Subaru GC/GF NA to Turbo conversion (link here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1888017 ),
Then into the Hyundai Genesis 2.0T, where I started running a business building turbo upgrades etc. My personal Genesis went through 7 different turbo's, 3 different intercooler setups, 4 different intake setups, 5 different exhaust setups, and some exotic (for the time) tuning methods.
All that this means is:
A) im a bit sick in the head,
B) the turbo kit I designed/fabbed/installed/tuned/proved is the offspring of many years experience...

Hey bro
I sent you a pm, you can let me know what you think
thanks
I have larger injectors from the 2AR-FE. Im guessing the stock pump will be adequate, but time will tell.
Here is a lil update. Turbo header and o2 housing/downpipe are coated and ready for service. Oil pump for turbo oil return is in the mail. Couple things left to buy/fabricate and then install can start...
Those are nice completed welds. How did you weld them to hold up to the pressure the turbo produces on the exhaust manifold and exhaust piping? Was there a special technique to use, or did you double/triple stitch the welds?

Thanks LOL. I thought the are ugly, but they are strong. I went over them 4 or five times, until I was satisfied. No cracking or any signs of fatigue!
Strong like Bull...
PS
The kit is sold now...

Great work, I suppose you are the first one to achieve on the 2ZRFE engine a turbo kit. And flawless right from the word go. Keep it up. Yes as rightly said all the countless hard work has finally paid off your dream. You can't imagine if this is ventured into a business proposition, you will have next two years full time. keep it up.
