Like REN said, I drove like a grandma. I didn't even get 38 mpg. A little dissapointing. The current commercial with the girl at the gas station and the nerd inside the station talking to her on the speaker says the car is rated at 41 mpg.
A couple things I noticed about that commercial. The car she drove off in was an automatic. I don't think they're rated at 41 mpg, I thought it was the manual only. And, I think the 41 mpg that they are referring to on the commercial is the hwy rating. If so, that commercial is very deceptive.
Unless Toyota has done some things with the fuel mapping since my '04 to make them even more fuel efficient. I wonder?
