I would not recommend anyone install a sound system themselves unless they either have a good background in electricity, or they learn about the rules of installation.

Personally, I think you should definitely get help or assistance on it, if you can't do that you should read up on it or ask a friend who's had experiences with it.

I've seen way too many scary scenes with bad use of fuses, wrong wires, bad taping, improper insulation, running the wires in the wrong place and most importantly, BAD GROUNDS.. This is not a simple task, and you could burn down your car if you forget something or make a mistake.

I have seen cars burn down simply because the power fuse was not in the proper place.
