GPS mounting spots?

I just purchased a tomtom 730 and am debating using the small disc that glues to the dash rather then have the tomtom stuck to the window.

anyways I was wondering what locations / methods some of you other venza owners are using?

I don't know about the tomtom, but with my Garmin, they have a BIG warning that says something like " Be very sure before you use the disk. Once attached, it is almost impossible to remove!"
Could be a problem later if you change your mind.
I just use the suction cup and it works fine.

I plan to use a Bracketron Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad, Model UFM-100BL, to hold my Garvin GPS in my Venza (on order and scheduled for delivery mid-July). I have used it in my Sienna van with great results. It is especially helpful in letting you mount the GPS closer to the driver than the windshield mount for better visibility. You can buy the Nav-Mat on Amazon for less than $15.

Hi all,
I have an old Garmin 330 and use the glass mount.
I don't know if I want to permanently mount anything to plastic.
And there really is no place to mount one ( unless you perm. mount on top of dash).
I'll keep using the glass mount .

Happy Driving

Pretty good ideas. They even have one (at least for Garmin) that mounts in the cup holder.

I use the Garmin "bean bag" mouting device. Works fine and makes moving the GPS from one vehicle to another very simple.
