Canada windshield and mirror heaters question

I have a 2012 V6 AWD.On the front dash there are two buttons for windshield de-icing heating. The icon on the left (closest to driver) is wedge -shaped and the other is square shaped. Am I correct that the right hand button heats the rear windshield and the side-rear-view mirror and the left heats the wipers on the front windshield? The manual does not explain this clearly (to me anyway).

Push the left button. If the fan goes to high and the output goes to the windshield then that is the windwhield defrost and the other button is the rear window and mirror defrost. If not then the reverse applies.
