New Venza Owner Here!! w/ Pics

Hi Everyone,

As of last Thrusday, I am a proud Venza owner!

We had our first kid back in September, and I quickly realized I needed a bigger car. I had a 2004 Acura TL A-spec, which I LOVED. IT was great, but being 6'3 325 I realized a bigger car would be more convenient.

I started really liking Toyota when we bought a 2009 RAV4 V6 Limited back in February '12. After looking for something practical yet somewhat sporty,I then decided on the Venza due to the family friendly nature and dramatic styling (for Toyota). I realize it is polarizing, in that you love it or you hate it. I love it personally. It is the perfect car for my situation.

I got a 2011 CPO Magnetic Grey Venza. It is V6 AWD with every option sans rear DVD. It has 15K miles. Got a great deal at 4K under bluebook and $1000 over book on my Acura. Plus Toyotas 1.9% these days on CPO is wonderful!!

I already tinted it (tail lights and rear reflecters too), and have a K&N filter, yellow fogs and LED tag bulbs on the way. There may also be some 22's in my future, but we'll see.

Anyways, I look forward to hanging out here. It seems like a nice Forum and certainly the busiest Venza forum on the net.

I saw them and was like WTF??? This group of guys play frisbee football in the park across from my place every sunday morning. There was also a cheap mountain bike laying there too. VERY bizarre.

Congrats and welcome. I have had my Venza (2010 V6 AWD,leather) for a few months now and I am very happy with it. No squeaks or rattles at all. Quick off the blocks too.

Thanks man!! Mine has 15K on the clock and has zero creaks or rattles so far. I like it more and more everyday.

Looks just like mine except I have roof rack. Paid $3500 below msrp, invoice for brand new XLE AWD V6.

How hard was it to tint the tails? Did you use vinyl? I did it a while ago on Mercedes C230. Forgot how to do it already

Sorry, I didn't do it myself, the tint place did it for $39.

It's lamin-x, and it was very hard for the tech. Each tail took 2 hours to get perfect.

Your car looks great! Love the tinted tail lights. Curved lights like that or our headlights are very difficult to vinyl.
