I finally did what I had in my mind for a few months. A 2 tone plastidip job from dipyourcarcanada. Patrick made this perfect and sells whatever you need if you are a canadian customer.

That came out great! It looks good with the Glossifier. As soon as you get photos of the side and back views, post them.

That is just flat black. No glossifier. I changed my mind lol. I will try and take more pics and get them up. I dont know if I will keep it up. ALOT of people are hating on it and now im all conscious. People dont understand the matte look and why I would do that to a venza.

Anyone else hate it or love it? Im open to feed back!

No Glossifier? Must be the lighting in the shop that makes it look brighter.

Don't worry about haters, haters hate, that's what they do... If you like it, that's all that really matters.

I like it. The only way I would like it more is if you brought the plastidip down around the fogs and across the bottom of the lower grille as lburton did in the other plastidip thread post #45 and used Glossy Black. If you're happy with it the way it is, don't listen to any negative opinions, most of the time these opinions come from people who don't do anything at all to their cars but are quick to pass judgement on someone elses efforts.

Did they give you any specific instructions for keeping it clean? Does it have to be hand washed or what?

Looks actually very nice!!! Since you asked for opinions, I'm not a big fan of matte black and chrome mixed... Other than that, it looks very nice!!!

Almost makes one want to paint the upper half gloss black permanantely! Nice, original idea sir...

Thanks for all the comments. I am not sure I am going to keep it this way. People are really hating on it. The people that know cars like it but everyone else does not.

The glossifier doesnt really make it shine like regular paint and it causes an orange peel effect. That is why I did not do it.

Washing it is done with either a a microfiber cloth, a plasti dip cloth or just rinsing it with a hose or pressure washer. You can not wax or spray detail it apparently either.
