Anyone know when the 2014 Venza will be released and what changes to expect?

Good question. The Venza was released in Nov/Dec 2008 and then had a mild refresh/update in May 2012. It's anyone's guess what time of year and year Toyota will have a totally redesigned Venza but I'd guess it would be at least 2 more years before a new Venza is released.

I thought the venza was being discontinued.

More than likely the 2014 Venza will be a carryover model - with minor (if any) changes. Toyota recently introduced the 2013 Rav-4 and the completely new 2014 Highlander will be available late this year or early next year. I doubt Toyota would introduce a 3rd new model of a car that is a niche vehicle that has been marketed very poorly IMMHO. I really like my 2011 Venza and the styling is still very contemporary and doesn't looked dated or in need of any major redesign. I would be happy with a mildly revised Venza with LED tail lights, different wheels and a more upscale interior. While the interior design is very modern in comparison to other wagon-type vehicles, it could use some better materials on the dash and door panels and maybe some more sound insulation to make it a bit quieter. Now if Toyota were to introduce a Hybrid version of the Venza when it is redesigned, I'm in.

Yea i've been told it's a refresh with new interior . Toyota has raised the bar lately with Tundra, Highlander and some other's.

My cousin works at the dealership I bought my Venza from and said he doesn't expect another year. All speculation. I was curious as well and if they do come out with a Hybrid..well I guess I'll be going back a lot sooner than I anticipated.
