The manual Tranny for the 3sge which can be found in 86-89 celica GT-S's will fit the 3sfe just fine. Also it is much stronger and has better gear ratios and should work with the 3sgte should you ever decide to do that swap also. I will be throwing in that manual tranny on my 2nd gen later this summer.
