Body side molding placement??

I have an 06 Avalon. I recently purchased the body side moldings for it. I intend to install them my self. The only problem I forsee is where do I install them, height wise. If anyone has the side molding on I would really appreciate hearing from you as to how far up from the bottom of the door is the bottom of the body side molding? Or of course if you measure from the bottom of the window how far down to the top of the body side molding.
Thank you!!

Its really does not matter how far you measure down, just make sure you measure the same on the other side. I would measure from the bottom of the door, on up. But if anyone else has any good answers, feel free to NOT BASH ME!

I posted some instructions at:
http://members.cox.net/n0v8or/nerf_strip_install.pdf

In case you have to cut and paste (or re-type) the link to work in your browser, use all lower case characters and underscores ("_") between the words.

I put mine's on the highest point of the door where it bows outward. I see people with older Avs and others where it's lower or in the manufacturer's notch and see lot's of dings on the high portion (the farthest where it bows outwards).

Good luck

Does anyone have roof wind deflector with pics. How easy is it to put on? I think it uses clips. How to put these on?
