2006: MP3 CD player?

Does the CD player in the 2006 play MP3's? If not, any advance word on whether the 2007's will have this feature.

Check your owners manual for the type audio system you have in your vehicle...

What kind of dumb ass comment is that? Do you really think this is helpful? What made you think from my post that I already own an Avalon? If you got nothing to say that helps to inform, refrain from posting.

If either of you had read either one of my posts, you would realize I don't own an Avalon so that's the reason I'm asking.

Norbert...It wasn't intended as a "dumb ass" remark and don't you think you are being a little short with people when seeking information...and your post wasn't clear at all...but you can check the Totyota Website and check the specs on the Avalon for yourself...I personally don't play MP3's in my car so I wouldn't care if they play or not...

Thank you. That's the information I wanted. I imagine the 07 will have it. The 07 Camry and the 06 Prius do play MP3 CD's.

That's kind of a dumb ass assumption. Unless Toyota has announced MP3 capability in the 07 Avalon, what makes you "imagine" the 07 will have it? Maybe the MP3 guy at Toyota just forgot to put that feature into their FLAGSHIP car. Or maybe they just wanted to mess with a guy named Norbert.

Couldn't resist...you guys are too gentle.
