got a 99 avy w/89k used im thinking of using bg44k to clean out injector system but am wondering if it might cause a problem with my o2 sensor or the caty coverter cause car might have a lot of buildup . i cheaked the throttle body it was pretty dirty clened it up with tb spray and noticed an improvement.

All these products appear to contain Naphtha, Benzene, and Xylene, same as Seafoam which everyone is using. Toyota suggests using Chevron Techron. Techron seems to contain about the same ingredients. So, it should be OK.

i use bg 44k at every other oil change. it is an excellent product and restores my fuel economy every time, and have never had any problems with it. I have also used the techron in the past and find it very good also, but the 44k seems to do in one treatment what it would take a couple of treatments for the techron to do. most of the other claimed fuel cleaners like stp and such seem to be worthless.

chevron techron

well i used the chevron techron this week instead of the bbk44 ...it worked just fine noticed an improvment in perfomance.injecters must have been a little dirty ..ii just felt it better to clean fuel system slowly (dont want to screw up catlitic or o2 sensor )instead of using bbk44 which is a stronger brand..they say its safe for 02 sensors but i like playing it safe...techron will be used at every oil change from now on thank you for your input........
