speakers

So instead of trying to make my avy look good on the outside i first want to focus on the sound system...anyone have any good ideas of what type speakers i should get

p.s i drive a 99'

There are an unlimited amount of options out there for upgrading the sound system in your Avalon, you are only limited by your budget. That said, I would recommend you check out Crutchfield to find out what fits your application.

I put a set of pioneers in the doors (all four) of a '99 - about 3 years ago - went pretty easy and made a nice difference (the wife was driving it then and she didn't need her brain scrambled)

mine has JBL's and they really do not sound too good. I think the problem is they are only 4 inch and the doors have baffels behind them, in some sore of bose wave imitation. It sounds hollow, but just good enough to keep the money rolling out to other priorities
