Does this bolt go through to the oil pan. What is the best method to seal this type of leak? Paul

You can tell because there will be a couple of hoses running out. If so, the leak could be from the pickup plate that mounts under the filter.

If the rubber is deteriorated then the mount may be leaking. __________________ It worked fine until I fixed it!
