1998 Avalon XL Standard Features?

this is probally a dumb question, but i'm asking none the less.

i was reading up about avalons and it says that among standard features it comes with heated outside mirrors and outside temp display. was this only on the xls or was it on the xl too? I have an xl and i have never seen a temp display and i dont believe i have heated mirrors... and does anyone know exactly what "soft-touch ventilation controls" are, because i sure dont....and keyless was standard on all models in 1998? mine was built in Oct 97 but is 98 model year.

i'm pretty sure even the xl models had keyless entry. soft touch ventilation is push buttons rather than the knobs you turn. heated outside mirrors were prob only on xls, along with outside temp display.

interesting that my XL has knobs instead of "soft touch" buttons, does anyone know when those were put into the model standard features? like was it a 1998.5 model year introduction type thing? just wondering. thanks for the info.

Late 1998 model. No temp display, no heated mirrors. Push buttons to select type of ventilation but large knobs to select temp, fan speed. Also has keyless locks just on the doors.
