Question Auto Climate Control

I have a '99 Avalon with the automatic climate control. The fan speed is stuck on low, but the light on the control panel says hi or whatever it's trying to do. When this first started the fan speed would just jump all over the spectrum. Now it's just stuck on low when the selector says anything but "off". Any thoughts on what to replace? I've tried the control panel and that didn't help.

The system appears to a power transistor module that controls fan speed at settings above low. There could be a fuse or fusible link in this module. The low speed setting appears controlled by a large resister that reduces the voltage.

There are also a 50A fusible link block, heater, ECU-8 and Cig/Radio fuses but doubt this is the problem.

Suggest you download the service manual for 2000-2004 from the link below. It is not the correct year but might be close enough.

I went ahead and ordered the resistor after I did some more research. It should be an easy replacement. I just hate dealing with some of the a/c mechanics because they like to charge an arm and leg for little things like this. It's got to be something fairly simple. Thanks for the manual.
