I probably would not go with an "ebay kit" as my primary lighting. I would go with a quality kit for lows and then maybe an ebay kit in the fogs or something. I have a friend that sells good quality kits here is his site lskoncepts.com He mainly does after market stuff for the Lincoln LS but he also does HID kits in any color for just a about any bulb size. I have the 9006 6K Digital kit in my car and I couldnt be happier.

I would do a retrofit if I were you guys but some people like to be safe and also courteous to other drivers on the road while others don't.

Anyone got pictures of their headlights with an HID kit against a wall about 15-20 feet away?

Depends on the brand your looking for on eBay. There are nice kits and there are crap kits.

All you have to do is lower your low beam(if thats the one the HID kit was installed in) so you don blind oncoming traffic

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of getting HID? You aim your headlights at the ground so you don't blind people and you end up with less visibility than halogen lights.

no u dont have to zip tie it i got my HID from my buddy's shop, trust me it easier to get it at the shop instead of ordering them online, i wouldn't trust ebay with HIDs cause the fact the the bulbs ae so sensitive and i just dont know how its been treated

I got a McCulloch 5000k from Ebay and have been using it for almost 3 years. No problem yet. I did have to re-aim the headlights though.
