USA 98 Avalon Sea Foam Question

Hello everyone...

I recently purchase 98 Avalon with 140,000 miles on it. I was reading the forum and found a lot of people are saying the SeaFoam helps bosst power in the car. found a lot of posts on the forum explaining were to put the Seafoam however i am novice on cars and dont want to screw up. So i took the picturs of the engine from the driver side and passanger side. Can someone please point to the rite pipe were i have to add seafoam through... i am looking to do this over the long weekend. Also i purchased K&N Filter which i will also install over the weekend.

Pict #1 is Driver side and Pict # 2 is Passengerside

how do i add pict to my post? i guess this is a bigger question now

the brake booster is the big round pan looking thing between the brake fluid resevoir and the firewall which you can see clearly from the driverside pic. see the big hose which comes from it and goes into the intake manifold. this is the hose you disconnect to put the seafoam in. and man....didnt anyone ever wash under the hood of that thing? or maybe it's where you live...i'm guessing a place they use salt on the roads. i guess that's one advantage of living down here....almost 8 years and under my hood still looks like new.

Thanks silverxls for the reply. I will do it today. Also i am guessing i will have to change my oil after i do the seafoam. What should i expect after i finish the seafoam...

gain in power?
lower fuel consumption?

And yes i just purchased the car about a month ago. The prevgious owner had it staing out in his driveway for over a year and i guess did not clean up the car atall. I will get it washed after i finish my todo list... below is what i am planning to get done...

Change Rear Rotors
Change Spark Plus
Change PVC Valve
Chage Fuel Filter
Change Air filter with K&N
Change Struts and Springs
Flush Transmission Oil
Flush Radiator coolant
Flush Steering Weel Oil
Bleed Brak oil

Let me know if i have missed out anything.....
