Can't seem to find a used AVALON

Wow,

I have been looking for a while and can't seem to find a used avalon limited.

I am looking for a 2005 or 2006 avalon limited with navigation and laser cruise.

looking for either black, White, Grey. I guess I would be open to other colors but don't like the greenish color, or the light blue, or beige.

Anyway, I want to pay about $23,00 to $24,000. I have seen nothing like this. of if I find it, it is on the west coast and I am in NY.

Are these cars scarce?

Buy one from the west coast. Fly out, buy it and drive it home. What a wonderful way to acquaint yourself with a great car!

That's too bad. I've made the trip from one coast to the other several time and it's and incredible country to see. Doing so in an Avalon would be all that much better!

Oh well - good luck in your search. Hope you find one nearby.

I bought an '06 Avalon Limited with Navi, Laser Cruise, and VSC back in late August for $25,000 with 19k miles on it. They wanted $27,500, but I talked them down a bit and paid it in full.

So, they're out there... I wasn't even looking for one or considering them, I just stumbled onto it quite by accident while looking for something 'Camryish'.

I do love it though...it is a lot of car for the money.

Anyone know the best places to look for this car?

I did find one today... It was a silver in very good condition. 10K miles 2006. It did not have laser cruise. They wanted 28+. I got them down to $26. if it has the Laser cruise I may have given him the 26k but without it I thought I would wait it out a little

I will tell you this, if you can save $2k and get one without factory Nav and the JBL 6cd stereo, I think you'd be much happier investing that $2k in a nice headunit that included Nav, hard drive, touch screen, etc. The Limited's stereo sounds fine and works fine to me, but the Nav is 'Ok' and functional at best compared to some of the aftermarket ones out there.

Have you tested the laser cruise? I know there are alot of mixed feelings about it. I'm not sure I've seen anyone that was absolutely thrilled about it.

I have it on my 2005, and probably wouldn't get it again unless it was greatly improved first. Anyone know if they have fixed the issue with the brake lights not lighting up with it applies the brakes?

My 06 applies the brake light with the laser cruise but only for hard braking. If it just slows down a little there's no brake light.

I like the laser cruise except for when it takes of like a banshee to accelerate 10+ MPH.

Wife and I both love the laser cruise... I usually accelerate like a banshee anyway when someone finally moves over, so maybe that's why I like it!
