Head Unit Removal

So I just bought my 96 XLS in June, and the CD player just died. I need to get it out, but I have no idea how. It's an after market Kenwood CD player, don't remember the exact model, since the front won't fold down. But what I need is just how I would go about removing the trim or whatever I have to do so I can get the CD player out.

use a flat head, pry two clips from below the a/c controls and just pull up, the trim includes the key surround, and the middle air vents, and you need to unplug the emergency flashers to remove it and get it out of your way (your turn signals will not work with the flasher unplugged) there are about 5-6 clips holding it in.

4 bolts hold the radio and bin below it (if present) in place. careful not to drop them into the console.

If it's an aftermarket unit, all you have to do is pop off the plastic trim ring around the radio and use a DIN tool to release the radio from it's cage. A DIN tool is basically 2 thin strips of metal that slide down each side of the radio to release the tabs in the cage it sits in.

Where would I go to get a DIN tool? Or better yet, can I make one?
