looking to replace my breaks.

Do you guys know/recommend any good companies that make ceramic breaks? I have a 1999 avalon xl.

well I ended up getting hawk high performance brake pads, I might get some drilled rotors later when I have more money.

should always do pads and rotors together. if no new rotors at least get them resurfaced. you will not get optimum braking with worn out or glazed rotors. if you dont know how to spell brakes you probably shouldnt do them yourself.

i prefer oem pads..and any good brand rotors..
reason for oem pads is they dont eat up rotors.. most aftermarket pads are harder than rotors and you will be cutting and replacing rotors many times over before replacing pads

And aftermarket pads are usually noisy too and seldom perform any better than stock.
