Fuel filter

Hi, I've got a '98- #1- How do you get the fuel filter off the fuel line?
#2- Does the fuel system depressurize after a couple of days and if not, How do you do it?

Thanks

To depressurize place a rag around the joint you are breaking loose to deflect and absorb any gasoline that will spray out. It is best to use a flare tub wrench for the steel fuel line nut, this prevents rounding the nut corners. Also use a wrench on the filter nut to keep the filter stationary.
