Rearview mirror compass not working.

I have a 97 Toyota Avalon XLS and the rear view mirror compass is not working. I was wondering what could be wrong? If fuse, where would the fuse be located at for the rear view mirror compass. Thanks.

Original or aftermarkeet and what features does it have. If it has an on/off button then hold it until a C appears. There are connectors behind the mirror, in the sunroof control panel and the overhead map light panel. I would think one of the connections in the mirror has come loose do to mirror movement over time.

Alright, I'll check on those things and let you know.

The car is all original. It's a mirror that has a sensor on the left side I believe that detects sunlight to determine when the mirror should be tint or not. On the right side of the mirror it shows the compass. It would either show N,S,E,W,NW, etc. But nothing appears. I do not drive the car so I am unsure if the tint portion of the mirror has stop working also. But I will do check all the mentioned above and see what's up. Thanks.
