Hello, I'm thinking of purchasing a '98 Avalon with 130,000 miles on it and I want to make sure it doesn't have sludge issues. When I go look at the car, is there anything I can check to quickly determine if it's an issue? The owner obviously won't let me pull the valve cover...

Ok, I took a look at the car today and got the VIN... the carfax scares me. Anybody have any comments?

WOW that cars been around lol...Far Rockaway is right by me. It says accident with pedestrian, check to see what was damaged or try to get him to knock down the price. The vehicle doesn't have a salvage title, so I doubt the accident was that bad
