97 XLS Ongoing vibration

Hi All,

Need opinions on this problem, happening for a year now...

Symptom, vibration/shudder felt through steering wheel/front end starting at
65 mph and worse as speed increases.

Work done,
- front bearings
- front rotors and pads (toyota)
- Four new tires, two balances- laser balanced and roadforce
- Inner CV joints
- Tranny and carrier bearing checked at Toyota, both good

Each time work was done there was no change.
When cv joints were done mechanic remarked engine cradle out 1/4 inch?

Have become very frustrated to the point of trading it in........Any ideas?

Hi,

Even my car has the same problem. The whole car starts to vibrate once I reach 60mph and increases with the speed. I also hear some whining noise.

I have taken an appointment with the dealer but before going there I would like to make myself knowledgeable so that I don’t get ripped off.
