want a little bit more power (about 100-150 hp)

i want close to 100 hp more out of that 1MZFE engine in my 1995 avalon XLS, she has 220,000 kms on her and she runs like a dream, been using full synthetic oil the past 50,000 kms(with oil changes every 6500 kms) and run premium gas on it

now, can any other avalon owners help me as to what can i do to add another 100 hp to my avalon

Gen1

Since a '95 only is putting out 172HP in stock form to begin with, boosting the HP by more than 50% to 272 is likely not to come easy nor cheap.

I would try the Gen 3-4 Camry forum, more boy racer types over there that have probably done engine mods.

Hahaha, another 100 hp? Exactly what jon456 said, buy another car. This is not a car you really mod.

Who cares if it's not a car typically people mod? I'm going all out on it eventually.

If you've got money pouring out of your pockets, have at it.

Pop on a supercharger ($2k), and you'll get about 50hp. Go over 230hp and enjoy replacing your auto tranny.
