95' Avalon "filler neck" compatible with Camry..etc..?

Hey Everyone,

Been reading these forums for a while now but just decided to join to ask this question as there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people on here

My "filler neck" to the gas tank is rusted out and this seems to be a regular problem from what I've read, I searched for "filler neck" in this Avalon forum but no luck, but I was just wondering if you guys had any part numbers for this peice or if anything from a Camry etc.. would be compatible with my 95' Avalon XLS.

Can't help you with compatibility, but coincidently I just had my fuel filler neck replaced today!

My mechanic charged me $211.30 for the part (part # on bill is 77201-41010) and 2 hrs. labour. Total was $381.30. Saw you also live in ontario, so the price would be close for you as well.

Just a FYI if you were to get it done at a shop. Also that part number might help.

YA thats friggin expensive, I might hold out since I'nm not going to lose $300+ in gas over this, going to try and see if i can fix this myself somehow but maybe not, thanks again for the part number.

Fuel tank is the same as 1995 Camry, thus the filler may also be the same. Suggest looking at 92-95 Camry.

If a junkyard can't help there are a host of Toyota online dealers that may have the part at 20-30% off list. A TN search should turn up a list.
