No power to stereo, yet no fuses blown...

I have a 96 Avalon, and I was replacing an aftermarket stereo with another aftermarket stereo. In the process, some wires got crossed (I know, I should have disconnected the battery), and now I'm not getting any power to the battery or accessory wires. So, I checked my radio fuse, and it was OK (cigarette lighter power still worked later on).

Any "easy" tips for finding the problem? Thanks for your help.

You checked the Radio No 1 and Cig/Radio fuses.

There also appears to be a 15A fusible link labeled 15A Radio No 1.

Thanks for your reply...Yes, I forgot to check my fuse under the hood last night. That fixed it.

Only problem is that now my left channel is receiving significantly more power than my right one. May be a stereo issue, though.

Ifa remote amp check the wiring, the signal may not be making it to the amp. Swap output wires to amp.

If not a remote swap speakers, if same problem you may have blown an output transistor.
