Hey, I have a 1997 Toyota Avalon XLS and have the leather bucket seats, I see there is a 2 conductor pigtail that is not connected to anything, am I correct in assuming that this is plug for the heating coil already in the seat? I think I could manage making a harness with a relay if I knew how many amps each seat drew. has anyone done this before? whee do the switches go in a equipped car? since I live in Chicago, this would be a very nice accessory! thanks!

how many amps per seat does the heater draw? where is the location I would put the seat heater switch? anyone have a picture? I scoured the forums for info on this project and didn't see anything.

welll.. all i know is that on 98/99s the switch is one the door itself on the little holder thing on the bottom (great description i kno lol) but this wouldd be a great accessory for chicago tho (i live in chicago too) let me know how it goes =]
