Surprised the car dealer let you swap the car I would say avalon as well. Comfortable, more power. Having it certified is not that big of an issue, big it does mean you get that additional 18K mi. warranty, if i remember correctly.

Or for that kind of money, why not get a 90-94 Lexus LS400 with a 4.0L DOHC V-8? The LS400s are built like tanks, get good fuel mileage and are heavy, safe cars. I get about 20-22 mpg in mine. However, they require premium fuel.
Hello everybody
Thank you very much for your views. I finally got #1 Camry CE. Priamrily what suppoerted my decision was: Low mileage, privately owned, better resale value after 2 yrs, and well maintained. Including tax and fees, it came to $13K.
Apologize me for my ignorance of the engine stuff...
I know that's the point of having a great forum such as TN!!! I swear, I'm addicted to this place, and it's great. I've helped people with a lot of things, and people here have helped me with a lot of things, I swear, this is almost like some kind of an on-line bar or something where everyone goes and talks...it's odd.
Now all we need is a "Cheers" inspired Toyota Nation.com Commerical -- "Someplace that you can go where everyone knows your car..." or something...
Oh to hell with it, I'm lacking creativity severely here...but it was fun while it lasted...:p
Yes thats right... I too found this place through internet searches. It was more like a boon for me to get some outside conusltations. I guess this forum must have helped a lot of ppl like me in the past and hopefully in the future too. Thnx folks. Looking fwd to constantly vist this place to learn more.
Yeah, I remember when I first came to the forums, I found it on the internet...but I mean that the forum is commonly used and pretty much the most popular toyota forum on the web, so I was saying that we needed a commercial or something, since that everything else that's popular's got one too.
