AC Problems in 95 Avalon

Hey everyone,
I have an issue with the AC in my 95 Avalon. It is so inconsistent. Some days the air will blow so cold but eventually stop after about 30 minutes of driving, especially stop and go driving. If it is parked in the shade for an extended amount of time it will blow cold for maybe an hour of driving. My question is, could it just need freeon/coolant and if so, where do i put this in at? Or could it be a fuse that needs replacing? Thanks so much for any advice!

you could have the freon levels checked, i doubt it is a fuse issue. It could also be a problem with the A/C amplifier

if the freon level is good and the ac only blows cool sometimes, could it be the compressor clutch being worn down/out?? i think i am having a similar problem to that on another car and it seemed along the same lines.

any thoughts?
