Change LCD bulb color in dash?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to change the dash LCDs in the dash?

Just got a new headunit which is blue and my 97 Avalon has green lights in the dash. Two of them recently died anyway and so I am trying to figure out how to a)find the proper blue bulbs (concerning voltage, amperage) and b)gain some know-how to avoid frying electrical components and/or needing to redo this in 12 months.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Pics are worth a thousand words!!!

this isn't on an Avalon, but a Land Cruiser, should be very similar

Change the color of the LCD? There are no LCD displays in the 1st gen Avalon.

If you go super duper custom LEDs I would highly recomend a voltage regulator for them.
