Gen1 96 Headlight Adjustment

I just installed HIDs in my low beams and I wanted to adjust them. The manual doesn't help and I lost my Hayne's guide book . Does anyone know what screws and where to adjust the vertically because they seem to be pointed toward the ground too much.

they are a phillips head screw towards the fender on the headlight housing. pull up to a wall at night and turn ur lights on and fiddle with the screws until they aim right. thats what i did with my HID's :-p

The best place would be to ebay an HID kit or go specifically to a mod site that sells them. I dont remember where I got mine, but they were apexcone slim ballasts (fat ballasts eat up room and you wouldn't have space in the bay unless you find an extension and put under your battery; or you can attach to the battery, but then it looks awkward).

They should have a really long shaft, disapearing into the housing. Also, the adjustments are very fine, because what may not look like moving much is a huge difference for the beam 100ft away.

You just slapped a conversion kit in the old housing? Isn't that very bright for poor cars in front of you? make sure you aim down good.

My beams are aimed so low stock that it i have to get at least a 2 car lengths until they hit the bottom of the bumper of the car in front of me and never get any higher than the license plate
