Cool You and your 'Avy!

I just wanted to know how everyone and their avalon are doing. You can list anything that your car has or just post pics up for us to drool at .

1996 Avalon XL, six seater
174K miles
Harmon Karmon Speakers
Been through 3 rear end collisions (receiving end all the time )
Gone through 3 antenna's (somehow the motor snaps the joint at where it goes up and down so gave up getting a new one)
Had all gaskets replaced (It leaked and burned oil like no other)
Placed silverstar ultras in highs and lows
Then got HIDs in (high beams kinda useless know and new lowbeam silverstars went to the Tundra's fogs )
Installed a pioneer 6 CD changer my dad got for free by myself (had to take out the back seats [found fries from when I was a kid] and wired the control unit to the front)
LED DOME lights (including the doors so that it looks sweet!)
Detailed to a new car sheen (this car sits outside in the rain and sun all day and built up a lot of oxidation in the clearcoat)

Yes, mine has some small dents from the PO, and it seems almost everyone I see has some also. Especially on the rear passenger side door

Thanks CorCamrySE! I took that picture right after my friend helped detail it. It was at the same time that my rear view mirror fell off too

Jigg, I love what you did with your dash. I bet it gets a lot of attention!

Mr. Kai- I love how your car still shines like new!

and I love Heavy_D's subs! Rivals every other ricer that i know!

Anyone else got a six seater? Don't see them too often

im planning on getting another avalon, i just love them to death, i have 210k on it, and my flex pipe been going out for almost a year, its been slowly getting louder, so i brought it a shop, and when i they fixed it, i dont even hear the motor at all, and it fels even more stronger, shit pulls so hard, and for the subs, things so loud the third brake lights dont work no more, the dash light is always on and the bulb came out and now it dont work lol.

Unhappy

I have a 99 but it's never been in a fender bender. I do have another issue though. My boss leaned on the front fender about mid-way between the headlights and drivers side door and put one mean dent in it. Seems those panels are nearly as thin as toilet paper.

Other than that (and an o2 sensor), this vehicle has done it's ~150k flawlessly. One of the best cars I have ever owned.

That is so sad! What's the matter with it? Maybe you can fix it?

Engine is shot.

Need a job so I can buy something else, and probably just gonna sell her for parts. I would fix it, but again, no job = no money. She's got some small issues too, but the engine being dead is a major one.
