How to remove seatbelt interial panel?

My 97 seat belt seems to be twisted. Please show me how to remove the plastic cover that I don't want to break it! I found one post in here with similar issue but not showing how to remove the panel safely.

Thank you

Dan

Remove the front and rear door silk plates/carpet retainers, then grab hold of the bottom edges of the lower pillar trim panel and pull it gently by firmly. Sometimes it help using a wide putty knife to exert some force between the panel and the pillar. Check to see if the plastic clips stay on the pillar or on the trim panel; re-install them on the trim panel before re-installing the trim. You can pull those clips off the pillar with a pair of side cutters if they are stuck.

Thanks N.E.O, by now, I just pull and twist the belt several times on different directions and I feel it moves smoother. I'll do like you said later on.

Thanks

Dan
