Lateral Bar....?
Hey Everybody,
My wife was rear-ended in a hit and run situation, which means I'm stuck trying to fix the car myself. It's a 96 Avalon XL, damage on the passenger side. When it was hit, the guy shoved the muffler/exhaust pipe into one of the supporting arms on the rear pass wheel and bent it. I've heard the arm called the following things:
Suspension Bar (Autozone)
Lateral Bar (Toyota)
Rear Locating Arm, Adjusting (Google)
Part is on the passenger side rear, and is a bar with bushings on either side with an adjuster about half way between the two ends. Best way I can describe it is it adjusts the toe in the rear wheel. My question is...
Is this part the same on a 92-96 Camry? The junkyards around here don't seem to have any Avalons, and Camrys are my only chance unless I order from Toyota (@ $150 for a piece of metal). Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
