Will the 98-99 corner marker lights fit 95-97?

I need a drivers side marker light and I was thinking of replacing both the 95 clear marker with the 99 style.
These 98-99s are much cheaper on ebay than the 95-97 clear ones.
Are they interchangeable?
(No local junk yard have any clears.)

I recall replacing my corner lamp with the same one in my 96 for about 18 shipped. And I recall seeing the 97s cheaper too. They look similar, why not try it seeing how they're so cheap, and dont forget to repost, haha.

If not, if you're good with a dremel I'm sure you can make it work.

Okay here is what if found;...the early and later marker lights are interchangeable perfectly in the physical location on the fender, and the tab screws perfectly onto the headlight housing.....BUT the light bulb hole and wiring are completely different. The newer ones (98-99) were made to be a marker and a signal; the old ones just a marker light.
I had to take the old 1995 plug apart, and plug the little wire ends directly in two of the three prongs...I decided the dimmer part of the amber bulb was best.
But yes it can work if you do a very little wire work.
