Are the fan control buttons lit?

The climate control and fan speed buttons are dark at night; are they supposed to be lit and how do i replace the bulb if they are supposed to be lit?
It's XLS with soft touch buttons.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that the soft touch buttons are supposed to light up.

tap at it (around the soft buttons). It could be faulty connections. If not, either get yourself a haynes repair manual to fix it yourself, get someone to fix it for you, or wait patiently for me or someone else to scrounge around for the repair manual that is in limbo around the garage

I'll answer my own question:
Yes they are supposed to be lit and after diving into the innards of the push button assembly I found that the 2 bulbs were burned out and then I ruined a third bulb.
