Looking for new headlights

the headlights on the car are horrible! I'm willing to spend a good amount of money for some nice headlights for the 97 Avalon. Any suggestions. Nothing too crazy where I got to put a bunch of parts together. Maybe some lexus headlights that fit? Do people have pictures out there?

If you just want better light output, because your headlight bezels are yellowed/fogged, you can polish them clear again. Use 1000 > 1500 > 2000 grade wet sanding, followed by plastic polishing compound on a rotary buffing wheel.

Restores the bezel clarity to nearly-new.

Also, you can put Sylvania XV bulbs in to increase light output slightly. The tradeoff is somewhat reduced life expectancy - they need replacing about once per year or so. (But that is better than Silverstar bulbs, which need replacing about once every 3 months.)

I agree with the polishing. Got my friend to do it, but the yellowing of the headlights will never go away since the car was exposed to UV for over 10 years. If you want better output, use the ones suggested above (I have the Silverstar Ultras in high beams since its pretty damn bright and u wouldnt use them much and got HIDs for lows.)

That's what I did, I don't have an Avalon I have an Altima, and mine were not bad, but I had a small leak in one where it was busted. Didn't have the time to screw with the lights, got OEM's on ebay, and work great.
