Gen1 Opinions on under-the-seat subwoofers? JVC vs Blaupunkt vs Clarion

Hello I'd like to get one of those under-the-front-seat subwoofers to go with the Sony aftermarket stereo and 4 Polk DB501 speakers in my '95 Avalon XL. The setup sounds great but not enough bass.

There are 3 subwoofers that fit under the seat I'm looking at and was wondering if y'all had any experiences/opinions:

JVC CS-BB2 http://support.jvc.com/consumer/prod...1&archive=true

Blaupunkt THb 200A http://www.blaupunkt.com/us/7606305001_main.asp

Clarion SRV314 http://www.clarion.com/us/en/product...385081202.html

The JVC is a discontinued model but still available.

Thanks for any input!

Why go with those when you have plenty of room for a woofer in the trunk that will do a lot better?

For starters, you keep all the trunk space in the rear, and can throw whatever you feel like back there without fear of damaging a subwoofer

Seeing how the subwoofer is in the cabin and so near, you will not need as much power. A 70W powered 6+" driver with the right cutoff will put out plenty of kick for most music. its all the listening taste. plus save a little stack of cash with not needed big honkin wiring or larger amps and the such.

Wow, those setups sure are matched though.

I think I'm liking the blaupunkt though because of its speaker being larger, a larger speaker will typically have more effciency over a smaller one. Plus its amplifier apprently dishes out more power.

More technical specs would be nice, but obviously to get the best opinion you need to hear them for yourself.

I would love to go hear how they sound but I've checked and no local store ever has the under seat subwoofers so I have to buy one online.
